(Too much?) Patience required

Downgrade edit: the games instability has cost me some good characters (deleted inadvertently while the screen would not respond) and countless chronitons (and therefore chances at the rewards I was aiming at). Not worth buying into until the stabilizing upgrade arrives.

Like most free-to-play, pay-to-win games, this games rewards ratio is stingy. Add to that the incredibly complex equipment improvement trees, and it takes a long time and lots of odd stops to get your characters promoted. Meanwhile, the situations requirements advance faster. But the premise remains fun: fantasy Trek crews applied to political challenges. Take the long-timed faction challenges as an excuse to go do something else and it all works out alright.
